I don’t usually link to the podcasts I’m invited to, but I’m going to make an exception with this one: Adam Sayne invited me to his Conspirinormal podcast a couple of weeks ago. My episode came after they had had Diana Walsh Pasulka, author of American Cosmic, which made a huge splash after it finally came out earlier this year. Because of this we covered some of the same ground they discussed with Diana, including how Transhumanism is starting to get connected to the UFO mythos due to the suggestion that a lot of kep people in the Tech world are apparently using a unique ability to ‘channel’ information from a non-local (and possibly non-human) source in order to obtain inspiration that could be used to reach new breakthroughs; the idea being that ‘aliens’ are ‘seeding’ technology not on a direct manner –like it was portrayed in the Philip Corso’s controversial book The Day After Roswell— but on a more subtle way, not unlike how Teosophists or other esoteric groups or spiritualist mediums were also channeling information from spirits or ‘ascended masters’ in the XIXth or early XXth century.
It bears mentioning that, although I do not think Diana Pasulka would confabulate the story she wrote in American Cosmic, all the things she claims remain to be fully corroborated, and therefore should be taken with a healthy grain of salt. That of course hasn’t stopped Alex Jones from taking all the AC information plus a bunch of all other things, put them inside that conspiranoic blender he carries inside his head, and concoct a veritable ‘woo-woo’ smoothie he threw up during his last appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience.
To be honest, it’s not that I did not find some of what Jones said mildly interesting –the suggestion he experienced sleep paralysis as a kid and also suffered serious head trauma during his school years was also worthy of note. Not to mention how his dad may have been involved in the same ‘genius program’ the government was (allegedly) clandestinely running, which also enrolled none other than Whitley Strieber. The problem with Jones is he talks about ALL OF THIS so matter-of-factly like it had already been 100% proved, there’s no way to take anything he says seriously.
But that’s probably for another time to discuss… so in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the Conspirinormal ep!
